Punctuality, Attendance, and Time Off Policy

Disclaimer:This attendance policy is intended to provide general guidelines for employees of ARG Dynamics regarding attendance, punctuality, and leave. It is not a contractual agreement and may be subject to change at the discretion of the company. Any exceptions to this policy will be made on a caseby-case basis by the management team.



Punctuality:
  1. All Employees are expected to report to work on time and be ready to begin their duties at the scheduled start time.
  2. A grace period of 15 minutes at the start of the shift is allowed for unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Any Employee coming to work after 15 minutes of start of shift without prior informing will be marked ‘late’.
  4. Full Day Off will be marked against any Employee coming to work after 2 hours of start of shift with or without prior informing.
  5. A total of 45 minutes break will be allowed during the shift hours, i.e. including the dinner. Repeated instances of arriving late may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to verbal or written warnings, deduction in salary and ultimately, termination of employment.


Breaks:
  1. All Employees are expected to be available on their workstations for maximum period of time; however, the company believes in giving adequate amount of break for employees to refresh themselves.
  2. All Employees are entitled to maximum of 45 minutes breaks during their daily shift hours.
  3. All Employees are entitled to a dinner break of 25 minutes, which will fall in the middle of their shift.
  4. All Employees are entitled to a total of 20 minutes of casual breaks.
  5. Taking longer, excessive and undue breaks may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to verbal or written warnings, deduction in salary and ultimately, termination of employment.


Attendance:
  1. Employees are expected to adhere to their assigned working hours, breaks, and lunch schedules.
  2. Employees must inform their immediate supervisor as soon as possible in the event of an absence.
  3. Any planned absences or time off must be communicated in advance to the supervisor or relevant department.
  4. Unauthorized absences or excessive absenteeism may result in disciplinary measures including warnings, loss of pay, or termination of employment.


Time Off Requests:
  1. Employees are required to submit time off requests for planned absences, such as vacation, personal days, or appointments, in advance.
  2. Time off requests should be submitted through the designated HR system or as instructed by the company.
  3. Approval of time off requests is subject to the operational needs of the department and may be granted or denied at the discretion of the management.
  4. If an employee's remaining leave balance is insufficient, unpaid time off may be granted upon approval and with a valid reason.


Medical Leave:
  1. If an employee is unable to work due to a medical condition, they should notify their supervisor or manager as soon as possible.
  2. A valid medical certificate should be provided to the company to support the need for medical leave.
  3. Employees are eligible for a maximum of 10 sick leaves annually, with valid medical proof.


Annual Leave:
  1. An employee is entitled to 10 calendar days paid annual leave, after completion of 12 months of continuous service.
  2. Annual leave should be scheduled in advance, subject to the operational needs of the department and the approval of the management.


Public Holidays:
  1. Public holidays observed by the federal government of Pakistan will be granted as time off to all employees.
  2. Employees required to work on public holidays may be eligible for alternative time off or additional compensation, as determined by the company policies.


Unplanned Time Off:
  1. In cases of unexpected situations or emergencies that require time off, employees should notify their supervisor or manager as soon as possible.
  2. Unplanned time off may be granted with approval and a valid reason, subject to the company's discretion.


Leave Calculation:
  1. The company's HR system will calculate and track employee leave based on their contract start date
  2. Employees can view their leave balances and submit time off requests through the designated HR system or as instructed by the company.


Changes to Policy:
  1. The company reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
  2. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to employees through the HR department or other designated channels.

By adhering to this attendance policy, employees contribute to a positive work environment and support the success of the company. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. By signing this document, employees acknowledge that they have read and understood the Punctuality, Attendance, and Time Off Policy of ARG Dynamics and agree to comply with its guidelines.
